The annual livestream in which Behaviour Interactive's developers share with the community their plans for the next 12 months ahead recently concluded, and although most of the news had been leaked beforehand, so much so that the team was forced to bring forward the event originally scheduled for May 23, there were still a few surprises.

Nine Killers will receive masks cosmetics inspired by Slipknot's iconic looks, and also, some characters will receive cosmetics based on Iron Maiden mascot, Eddie. Moreover there will be skins from The Evil Within Artist and Naughty Bear game:

The exciting news is that the two chapters after chapter 28 will both be licensed from 'VERY ICONIC LICENSES':
The other exciting thing is that Stranger Things will probably actually return in Dead by Daylight, as during the seventh anniversary livestream, while they were talking about the New HUD for Bots, the two Stranger Things characters were visible to the left of the HUD of the survivors in the game, definitely a clue:
In addition, Behaviour Interactive has finally changed its mind about camping, no longer considering it a game mechanic but something to be punished.
In fact, they are developing a mechanic whereby an indicator fills up when the killer is excessively close to the survivor who is hooked; if this indicator fills up completely, the survivor will be able to disengage on his own.
In addition, thanks to the Player Cards that will be released this fall, it will be possible to apply banners, icons and more, all of which also will be available as rewards within the tomes.
There will also be a perks search bar to allow you to search through the name for the perks you want without having to stand there looking through the various pages.

There will also be an event to celebrate the seventh anniversary of the game that will include, as always, hooks and generators with different skins, and Twisted Masquerade return:
And, finally, Fractured Cowshed and Rancid Abbatoir maps from Coldwind Realm will get a balance rework.
