Yesterday I showed you, through the social channels of LeaksByDaylight, the banner dedicated to the first skin that will receive Leatherface on Dead by Daylight, and many of you wrote to me asking if new information other than the banner had been leaked, such as its release date, game model, etc.

In this article, I summarize all the information released in recent weeks on the website about this new skin.





FIRST OF ALL, WHY THE 'OLD LADY' MASK?

In the original film, Leatherface wore three different masks: the "Killing Mask", the "Old Lady Mask" and the "Pretty Woman Mask".
Gunnar Hansen commented: "The reason he wore a mask, according to Tobe and Kim, was that the mask really determined his personality. Who he wanted to be that day determined what mask he put on. So when Drayton comes home with Sally, Leatherface is wearing the 'Old Lady Mask' and he's wearing an apron and carrying a wooden spoon, he wants to be domestic, helpful in the kitchen.

THE 'OLD LADY' LEATHERFACE ON DBD

As you well know, every collection coming to Dead by Daylight is always accompanied by a promotional banner. This is the banner dedicated to the Leatherface collection:

THE 'OLD LADY' DESCRIPTIONS & RELEASE DATE

The 'Old Lady' Leatherface is set to be released next week, November 13th. These are the descriptions of the collection and the various pieces of the skin:

• Collection Description
- Name: Old Lady
- Description: Leatherface's homemaker persona, serene and harmonious until everything goes wrong.
- Collection Name: Texas Chainsaw Massacre



• 'Head' Description
- Name: Lady of Leather
- Description: An older woman's flayed face and scalp, lovingly cured into a kindly mask of domestic bliss.

• 'Body' Description
- Name: Homemaker's Apron
- Description: An extra-large apron for helping around the kitchen and cleaning whatever blood may spill.

• 'Weapon' Description
- Name: Dinner Smasher

- Description: A brutal chunk of wood for when your meals on the run.


*Note: I remind you that all this, including the release date, is subject to change as we are talking about products still under development.



Also, I have one more thing to tell you, for all those who aren't excited enough with this skin, I tell you to rest assured, because the Old Lady won't be the only Leatherface skin coming to Dead by Daylight.
