Today is a pretty incredible day for Dead by Daylight fans because so many leaks are surfacing about what will be the upcoming content coming inside the game, such as the killer and survivor of chapter 28 with trailer, the Year 8 roadmap, collaboration with Nicolas Cage, Slipknot, Iron Maiden, The Evil Within artist, collaboration with Supermassive Games for a new Dead by Daylight spin-off game, and more:
Among the various leaks is precisely the roadmap of the upcoming content coming within the game, and you can see that for the first time on Dead by Daylight, there will be many paragraphs instead of chapters, that is, DLC with only one character, and for those who don't know, within the game, paragraphs are almost always licensed characters, in fact in July there will be Nicolas Cage, and in the past we have had Ghost Face, Pinhead, Ash Williams, Leatherface, which were all paragraphs.
And from the leaks that are emerging, it looks like the paragraph that will be released in November, will be licensed, and the chances are very high that it could be a collaboration with Five Nights At Freddy's, because just yesterday the trailer for the movie was released, which will be released just in October this year:
The collaboration with FNAf is one of the most wanted by the Dead by Daylight community so much so that it has been talked about for years, and this year it actually seems to be the time, in fact I remind you that Behaviour Interactive always pleases the community, in fact some time ago there was a poll asking fans which IP they wanted Dead by Daylight to collaborate with, and within that poll were characters who have since actually become part of the world of asymmetrical multiplayer horror, such as Pinhead, Silent Hill, Resident Evil, Attack On Titan, and many others.
This crossover could be just like the one there was with Leatherface years ago, which was done right around the time of the movie's theatrical release to push DLC sales.
For the uninitiated, Five Nights at Freddy’s is a video game (which has since been followed by others) released in 2014 that immediately had a huge success.
The video game Five Nights at Freddy’s takes place inside the restaurant Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza after closing time. Here, when all customers have left the premises, animatronic creatures come to life.
The player is the guardian of the restaurant that is not engaged in a fight against the creatures but that, from his office, is called to monitor the surveillance monitors and low resolution devices in his possession to track the movements of animatronic creatures. The night watchman has to stay in place for 5 nights to win the game and get fired.
*Note: I remind you that at the moment there has been no official communication from Behaviour Interactive regarding a collaboration with Five Nights at Freddy's, the November chapter could still be on another license, or become original, since it is still in development.
