Dead by Daylight: New Jurassic World Chapter Rumors Suggest Indoraptor Could Be the Next Killer
A new wave of rumors is spreading through the Dead by Daylight community, and this time the spotlight is on a possible Jurassic World crossover. According to recent leaks, the terrifying Indoraptor from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom could be arriving as the next Killer, alongside Owen Grady and Claire Dearing as the chapter’s Survivors.
While none of this has been officially confirmed by Behaviour Interactive, the details are surprisingly specific and have already sparked major discussion among fans.
Indoraptor Reportedly Set as the Killer
The main rumor claims that the Indoraptor will serve as the chapter’s Killer. The creature would reportedly use a model sourced from Frontier’s Jurassic World Evolution Trilogy, which could help explain how Behaviour adapted such a complex creature into the game.
Its gameplay is said to focus heavily on stealth and aggressive hunting. One of its signature abilities would allow it to enter a stalking or hunting mode, becoming difficult—or possibly impossible—for Survivors to detect.
From there, the Indoraptor could perform a short dash attack capable of causing Survivors to stumble if they are hit. Even more interesting, that dash could apparently evolve into a leap attack that allows the Killer to vault over Windows and Pallets, giving it strong mobility during chases.
If the leap successfully connects, it reportedly deals one full health state of damage.
Another mechanic suggests that Survivors who are pounced on by the Indoraptor would be forced into a series of skill checks. Depending on how well they perform, they may be able to stun the Killer and escape the attack.
Owen and Claire Rumored as Survivors
The rumored Survivors are Owen Grady and Claire Dearing, both from Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom.
Leaks suggest they will feature likenesses and voice lines, although it remains unclear whether the actual actors—Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard—are directly involved or if Behaviour is using sound-alike performances and modeled likenesses only.
This would make them one of the more recognizable licensed Survivor pairings in recent memory.
Legendary Cosmetics Could Include the Original Jurassic Park Trio
In addition to the base Survivors, rumors suggest that Alan Grant, Ellie Sattler, and Ian Malcolm could arrive as Legendary cosmetics.
These skins would reportedly include full likenesses, though it is still unknown which film versions they would be based on or whether they would feature unique voice lines.
For longtime fans of the franchise, this would be one of the most exciting parts of the collaboration, bringing the original Jurassic Park trio into Dead by Daylight.
New Indoraptor Cosmetic and Camp Cretaceous Rift
Cosmetic leaks also mention a rare “Gen 2” skin for the Indoraptor, believed to be inspired by the white-and-blue Indoraptor design seen in the mobile games.
Additionally, the next Rift is rumored to be themed around Camp Cretaceous and Chaos Theory, the Netflix animated series set in the Jurassic World universe.
The Rift would reportedly include a visceral cosmetic for the Indoraptor and skins based on the “Nublar 6” for the original Survivors.
Map Could Be the Jurassic World Visitor Center
The chapter’s map is rumored to be the old Visitor Center from Jurassic World, giving players a nostalgic and cinematic setting for the crossover.
Leaks also mention two dinosaur Easter eggs hidden within the map, described as having a “Ripley-esque” vibe, although details remain unclear.
If true, this could become one of the most visually unique maps in the game.
Other License Rumors: Anime, Jason, and FNAF
The same source also touched on several unrelated license rumors.
They reportedly have not heard anything concrete about Death Note or other future licenses, but they did mention that Behaviour has supposedly acquired more anime licenses and is actively interested in bringing more anime content into the game.
They also claim that a Jason Voorhees chapter is considered a highly secretive license and one that is heavily requested by the community.
Behaviour is also said to want more Five Nights at Freddy’s content following the franchise’s success in the game.
There were also mentions of possible interest in creepypasta-inspired content and original horror concepts created internally by the Behaviour team.
As for Slenderman, the source suggested it is “probably a no,” although the way it was said sounded more like personal speculation than confirmed insider knowledge.
Finally, Jaws was apparently mentioned more as a joke than a serious possibility.
Final Thoughts
As always, these rumors should be taken with caution until Behaviour Interactive makes an official announcement. However, the idea of the Indoraptor stalking Survivors through the Jurassic World Visitor Center is exactly the kind of chaos Dead by Daylight fans would love to see.
If even half of these leaks turn out to be true, this could become one of the game’s most memorable licensed chapters yet.
