Next week, May 25th, Behavior Interactive will reveal in livestream the new licensed chapter of Dead by Daylight: the Resident Evil Chapter.
Waiting for the official presentation, however, we have received some advances about this thanks to a press release released recently.
In fact, the Creative Director of Dead by Daylight, Dave Richards, anticipates that with the new chapter new ways to survive or escape will come into the game, these are his words:
“We are excited to be working with the legendary studio Capcom to create the next Dead by Daylight chapter. It is an honor and an absolute joy to welcome the original survival horror game Resident Evil in The Entity’s universe. The result is fantastic and will surprise new players and veterans alike. Players can expect a chapter packed with iconic content and novel ways to sacrifice or survive inspired by the renowned franchise.”
Also the Game Director of Dead by Daylight, Mathieu Cote, confirms that the characters arriving from the world of Resident Evil will be iconic:
“This is such an awesome new addition to our universe! If you had told us, five years ago when we launched, that one day we would be adding characters from the legendaryResident Evil world into our game, none of us would have believed you. We are so very grateful to Capcom for everything they’ve done over the years to bring horror to the world of video games. And today, we get to bring these icons into Dead by Daylight. It is an incredibly proud moment for us.”
I add one more thing, but beware, I can't verify if it's true or not so take this information as a grain of salt: I have been told that the chapter will include 2 survivors, Leon and Jill, and that the killer will be the Nemesis.
I repeat, I cannot confirm these words, if it is true we will find out next week.
Who will be the upcoming characters from the Resident Evil franchise in your opinion?
