Dead by Daylight Reveals Its First Angel-Inspired Original Killer, Community-Created Chapter Arrives This September + The Next 2v8 with ALIEN!
Behaviour Interactive has officially revealed the design of the next original Killer coming to Dead by Daylight this September, and it marks a major milestone for the game. For the first time ever, players will face an original Killer inspired by an angel, bringing a striking celestial aesthetic into The Fog.
What makes this chapter even more special is the way it was created. Rather than being designed entirely behind the scenes, Behaviour worked closely with the community through a long-running collaborative project. Fans were invited to help shape the chapter by voting on and influencing some of its biggest elements, including the Killer’s appearance, gameplay power, and even the original Survivor who will accompany the chapter.
The result is a truly community-driven chapter that reflects months of feedback, discussions, and creative decisions from players around the world. With the final design now revealed, excitement is building as fans prepare to experience the finished version when it launches in September.
Alien Collection Sale Coming in September
The celebrations won’t stop with the new chapter. From September 8 to September 29, players will be able to enjoy a 30% discount on every cosmetic from the Alien collection.
The sale includes cosmetics for both the Xenomorph Killer and the Alien Survivor, making it the perfect opportunity for fans of the iconic sci-fi franchise to expand their collection at a reduced price.
Xenomorph Joins the Next 2v8 Event
The same period will also bring back the popular 2v8 game mode with an exciting addition. For the first time, the Xenomorph will be available as a playable Killer in the mode, allowing players to hunt Survivors alongside another Killer in chaotic 2v8 matches.
With a brand-new community-designed chapter, a major Alien cosmetic sale, and the arrival of the Xenomorph in 2v8, September is shaping up to be one of the most exciting months of the year for Dead by Daylight players.
