EXCLUSIVE: Dead by Daylight x Terrifier – First Leaks Reveal Details About Art the Clown Chapter
The first leaks regarding the upcoming Dead by Daylight chapter based on the Terrifier franchise are here, giving fans an early look at what could be one of the most anticipated licensed chapters of 2026.
The collaboration was officially announced during Behaviour Interactive’s livestream celebrating the game’s tenth anniversary, although many players had already correctly predicted the reveal thanks to several teasers shared across the game’s social media channels in the days leading up to the event.
According to current leaks, the chapter is expected to introduce Art the Clown as the new Killer and Sienna Shaw as the new Survivor. At the moment, the chapter reportedly will not include a dedicated map, focusing entirely on the new characters and gameplay additions.
The release date is currently rumored to be November 24, 2026, while the Public Test Build (PTB) is expected to launch on November 3, 2026. However, as with all early development information, these dates remain subject to change.
Sources familiar with the chapter’s development suggest that Art the Clown’s power has not yet been fully finalized. Several aspects of the Killer, including animations, perks, and overall balancing, are reportedly still being actively worked on by the developers.
What is currently being discussed is a power centered around strong map control, featuring a form of teleportation mechanic designed to make Art’s presence across the map feel constant and highly aggressive. If implemented as currently planned, this would allow him to quickly pressure Survivors and maintain momentum throughout matches. Finally, according to current leaks, Art the Clown’s weapon will be a knife.
Another interesting detail concerns Art’s Mori animations. Similar to Jason Voorhees, Art is rumored to feature multiple Mori variations, allowing for greater visual variety when executing Survivors.
As for his perks, current information suggests that none of them will revolve around Hex Totems. This would differentiate him from Jason, whose perk lineup includes a Hex perk as part of his kit.
From a visual standpoint, leaks indicate that Art the Clown may not be based directly on his appearance from the Terrifier films. Instead, his in-game model is said to be closer to the version featured in Call of Duty during last year’s Halloween collaboration, potentially offering a more stylized adaptation of the character.
While the chapter itself reportedly won’t include a map, that absence may only be temporary: Behaviour Interactive is planning to release its first-ever shopping mall map in December 2026, potentially serving as a follow-up content drop shortly after the chapter’s launch.
The Terrifier chapter is expected to be priced at $7.99.
As always, it is important to remember that the chapter is still in development and that all leaked information should be treated with caution. Features, perks, powers, animations, release dates, and even the overall content of the chapter may change before launch. Similar situations have occurred in the past, including with the Stranger Things chapter featuring Vecna, where several elements evolved during development as release date. For now, fans should wait for official announcements from Behaviour Interactive before considering any leaked details as final.
