Bruce Campbell, after collaborating with Dead by Daylight in 2019, returns to the world of video games with a game centered on her most iconic character: Ashley J Williams will in fact return with a whole new game called: Evil Dead The Game!
This Evil Dead Game has been in development for about two years, and the first confirmation of its existence came in early 2019 when Bruce Campbell, the actor who plays Ashley J Williams in the Evil Dead Franchise, he replied to a user who wanted a new Evil Dead game with a "Yes", confirming that something was in development:
He then released various interviews in which he let it be known that he was voice-acting for his character within the game, and then tweeted in July 2019due to some erroneous rumors about the VR nature of the video game:
Finally, a couple of months ago, in an interview with 'Diabolique Magazine', there was confirmation that the game was going well and would be released in 2021: "I have been looking at and approving a bunch of new stuff. They are full-fledged, full bore into it, ”Campbell told interviewer Susan Leighton. "I think they are talking 2021 for an actual release. It's rolling along, looking great. It got delayed because of the nightmare of video games. Platforms change and evolve. You look at somebody else's games and go, 'Shit! We have to change everything now. 'We have to stay current."
And we then finally came to the announcement with a gameplay trailer as well:
The game will be a co-op and pvp action in development by Boss Team Games and coming to PC, PlayStation 4, Playstation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch in 2021.
