It’s been a long time since I’ve written an article about the Friday the 13th franchise:
And above all, it’s been a long time since the last movie released in the cinema about this franchise, but maybe something is moving.
In fact, in a conversation with Bloody Disgusting’s The Boo Crew Podcast, producer Roy Lee (IT 2017, The Ring, Poltergeist, Blair Witch) said that by the end of the year there will be news about Friday the 13th: "That one is something that I would love to talk about. You may be hearing something by year’s end... on that front."
After the success of IT in 2017 and Halloween in 2018, many 80’s horror franchises returned to the cinema, such as Candyman, Ghostface and even Jeepers Creepers:

For those who do not know, in this period Dead by Daylight, the successful asymmetric horror multiplayer by Behaviour Interactive is getting many collaborations coming:
The coincidence with which news is announced regarding Friday the 13th at the same time as the release of the new licensed chapter of Dead by Daylight, that is both by the end of the year, is quite curious.
What if the news coming later this year equals the arrival of Jason Voorhees on Dead by Daylight in Chapter 26?
It already happened last year that at the end of the year a collaboration was announced, in that case it was 'Ringu', and above all, in this period Behaviour Interactive seems to have many tricks up its sleeve.
