Hellraiser – Pinhead returns with the Hulu Reboot: First Teaser + Release Date
I told you last year about a reboot of the Hellraiser saga released on Hulu. And now it was also shared the first teaser that also reveals the release date: October 7.
David Bruckner (The Ritual, V/H/S, The Night House and Southbound) directed the film while Jamie Clayton (Sense8, The L Word: Generation Q) will play Pinhead.
The screenplay will be curated by Ben Collins and Luke Piotrowski, who based it on a story by David Goyer.
The cast also includes Odessa A’zion, Brandon Flynn, Goran Visnjic, Drew Starkey, Adam Faison, Aoife Hinds, Selina Lo and Hiam Abbass.
I also remind you that a Hellraiser TV series written by Mark Verheiden (Daredevil, Battlestar Galactica) and Michael Dougherty (Trick² r Treat) is in development at HBO and based on the original story of the first book by Clive Barker from which was also produced the first film of 1987.
It will be produced by Roy Lee (Vertigo Entertainment) and Dan Farah (Farah Films).
The HBO series will not be a reboot like Hulu’s film but a continuation and expansion of Clive Barker’s narrative universe.
