All Upcoming Playstation Marvel Videogames Leaked: Wolverine, Venom, X-Men and More!

Rhysida, a ransomware group, hacked Insomniac Games' servers a week ago and thus gained access to a wealth of information about the company, its employees, and games in development. The group had demanded $2 million in ransom, but since no one bought the data, it decided to post the information online. A total of 1.3 million files were distributed, with a total of 1.7 terabytes.

In terms of the type of information, there are a variety of details such as release dates, spoilers about the Marvel's Wolverine game, and even sensitive information related to the developers, but also tax information, internal company messages, computer-related information, termination forms, and even passport details.

In a comment sent to the Cyber Daily, the ransomware group said it intentionally targeted the company and "knew that developers of this type who create games are easy targets."

It also added that it was not particularly difficult to break into Insomniac Games' network to obtain game data.

Among the multiple leaks that are circulating, there is also a list of five upcoming games with corresponding release years.

The list of upcoming games begins with a title dedicated to Venom, scheduled for fiscal year 2025 (April 2025 - March 2026), then moving on to Marvel's Wolverine in fiscal year 2026 (April 2026 - March 2027), followed by Marvel's Spider-Man 3 in fiscal year 2028 (April 2028 - March 2029), moving on to a new Ratchet and Clank game in fiscal year 2029 (April 2029 - March 2030), and finally concluding with a new game dedicated to the X-Men in fiscal year 2030 (April 2030 - March 2031).

Within the documents that have emerged are also Sony's concerns about Microsoft's strategy regarding even the acquisition of Activision Blizzard, which was a blow to Sony's Playstation strategies.

Also revealed is that Insomniac Games has a contract for three X-Men games, and some game clips from Marvel's Wolverine were also leaked.

Other files talk about the financial results of many games, such as the fact that the latest Ratchet and Clank is losing about 8 million, that the last Spider-Man released this year cost more than 300 million, and also the sales of games released on PC:

It is also revealed that the game on the X-Men may be released simultaneously on PC as well, finally it is expected that prices will increase by 2027 to $100 per video game.
