Metal Gear Solid was the saga that pushed Hideo Kojima to be one of the most influential creative within the video game industry, the one who managed to contaminate movies and video games thanks to the first in-game movies directed by him, that you can also appreciate in his latest project, Death Stranding, which includes 5 actors + 2 characters based on the features of two directors.
Since Hideo Kojima separated from Konami, many have been disappointed that they could never see the end of Metal Gear Solid, also after so much content was discovered that was cut and never included in the latest game released 7 years ago, but maybe something’s moving.
For those who do not know, Konami has recently announced new projects of Silent Hill including new games and even a new movie, another saga of which was not released a new video game for too long:

And maybe something is moving as far as Metal Gear Solid is concerned.
In fact it was published on Youtube and then removed (but its also republished on Twitter by some users) a teaser by the development team Virtuos (who previously worked on some ports of XCOM 2 and Bioshock) in which you can see a forest very similar to that of Tselinoyarsk in Metal Gear Solid 3, and then a morse code that once translated you can notice the following sentence: "1964 December 8, 2022" and here things get interesting.
In fact, 1964 is the year in which the Snake Eater operation takes place within Metal Gear Solid 3, while December 8 is the day when the Game Awards will be held, an event in which in addition to rewarding the most important games of the year, new projects are also announced and then new trailers and teasers are published.
I also remind you that for months we have been talking about Virtuos as a team working on the remake of Metal Gear Solid 3, moreover, through the official website of Virtuos, you can notice that figure as a team partner of Konami who has already worked with them in the past, also with their For Engine. About the teaser, maybe it is removed perhaps because of Konami who will have considered too soon and too explicit a video of that kind:
