It is no longer impossible that Konami is thinking of a return of the famous saga created by Hideo Kojima.
In these last days in fact the rumors are becoming more frequent
thanks to an update of AreaJugones in which it has become known that in early 2023, around February-March, there will be the presentation of the Remake:
”The same source that previously gave us this information reiterates that the announcement will be made in the future and not necessarily at The Game Awards gala, the announcement of Metal Gear Solid Remake should occur before May 2023, sounding very strong the first months of the year, especially February-March.’
According to their information, the game will be a Remake that will be released on PS5 (and not on PS4), but they do not know the studio that is working on it, but they know that it is a project that has been in development for several years.
To fuel these rumors, Quinton Flynn, the actor who gave the voice to Raiden in Metal Gear Solid 2, Metal Gear Solid 4 and Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, responding on twitter to a fan saying there will be news in the coming weeks:

We just have to wait and see what will be announced about the Metal Gear Solid franchise.
Excited about it?
