Do you remember Home Sweet Home? that singleplayer horror game released in 2017, and that also had a sequel in 2019? Well, this is the third project linked to that brand, with the difference that this time it will be a multiplayer, its name isHome Sweet Home: Survive.
Home Sweet Home: Survive is a brand new asymmetrical game that consists of 1 Specter hunting 4 survivors in an arena. There are two core gameplays depended on the role players take. The Specter is to strategically hunt 4 Survivors letting no one escape, and not being killed by survivors.
Each Specter will have different stats and special abilities offering various ways of hunting survivors. The survivors have to cooperate to complete the objective. Each character will have different stats and unique abilities supporting each roleof play: decoy, damage, or perform the rituals. Things will drastically change after the objective is completed. The game will test personal dilemma choosing either teaming up to eliminate the Specter or saving own self by leaving the arena.
About the lore:
"Hindrance is a dimension between the world of the living and the world of death. People who entered the Hindrance were either their lives were hanged between life and death or were deceived by dark occult users. Skillful invokers usually used this opportunity to take people's souls. Controlling Specters in their command, they killed people who lost in the Hindrance and collected their souls. A bunch of survivors was dragged into the Hindrance, and it is now a survival game. Join the survivors and overcome the invoker’s puppet or return to the realm of the living by escaping the Hindrance, or be the Specter and hunt and collect souls."
The game will be released tomorrow at 5 PM (GMT +7) in Early Access, and will cost $6.99.
- Why Early Access? "Since this is our first online multiplayer game with the largescale, we would like to learn the feedback from players and further improve the game's balance and rules to serve everyone well. Also, we would like to collect game analytics and statistics to plan for marketing and design in the future. Lastly, we would like to test it out and see if there are still bugs that the team hasn't discovered so we can remove as many bugs as we can before the full release."
- How long will this game be in Early Access? "Around 6 months - 1 year"
- How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version? "1. New play modes for casual players and competitive players. 2. New character features. 3. More flexible fashion customisation. 4. Optimised build to be friendly with old machines. 5. Less bugs and more content."
- Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access? "The game will be priced at 6.99USD during Early Access. The price after Early Access is still determined but unlikely to be adjusted."
