Grand Theft Auto: Rockstar Games Confirms Leaks on GTA 6 but there will be no Delays
For more than 24 hours now we talk about nothing but the huge leaks that have hit the next game belonging to the Grand Theft Auto saga and developed by Rockstar Games.
90 videos stolen by a hacker that revealed a lot of details about GTA 6, including the setting, characters, dialogues, and many features that have remained, of course, secret.
The main concern came from the fact that the hacker even had the source code (or part of it) of GTA 5 and also GTA 6, thus forcing the development team to delay the release of the product to update and change it, as the source code, for those who don’t know what it is, it is literally the DNA of the game, if it is made public, hackers could damage the product when it is officially released.
But apparently the damage is less serious than expected, is in fact about an hour ago the statement from Rockstar Games that talks about the theft of data happened to GTA 6, and it is explained that there will be no delay in development:
“We recently suffered a network intrusion in which an unauthorised third party illegally accessed and downloaded confidential information from our systems, including early development footage for the next Grand Theft Auto. We are extremely disappointed to have any details of our next game shared with you all in this way. Our work on the next Grand Theft Auto game will continue as planned and we remain as committed as ever to delivering an experience to you, our players, that truly exceeds your expectations. We will update everyone again soon and, of course, will properly introduce you to this next game when it is ready. We want to thank everyone for their ongoing support through this situation.”

What do you think about all this?
