Scream VI could collaborate with Dead by Daylight in March After Losing LEATHERFACE

Dead by Daylight is a product that has made collaborations its strong point, thanks to the various crossovers in fact, Behaviour Interactive has managed to make more and more known their multiplayer horror, to make it one of the most played, thanks also to the fact that it is available on all platforms.

The first collaboration that led Dead by Daylight to be a popular game was with the Halloween saga, featuring iconic Michael Myers and Laurie Strode:

Then we had many other collaborations, not only from the horror movies of the 80’s, such as the crossover with Resident Evil and Silent Hill, or the partnership with Netflix and Stranger Things:

In recent years there have been many opportunities for Behaviour Interactive to increase the community around the game, all you can see in the numbers, such as exceeding the million followers on Twitter, as well as the game’s incredible sales numbers:

2022 also marked the collaboration with PUBG, and two great news for all fans, namely the return of the Friday the 13th saga with a new TV Series, and also the TV series on IT, both very important occasions to make deals for those who are two of the most wanted killers from the community of the game: Pennywise and Jason Voorhees:

In 2019, however, there was another collaboration strongly wanted by fans, the one with Ghost Face, with which several skins were also produced:

And just Scream could be the saga around which new content could arrive under license within Dead by Daylight, in fact in March will be released the new movie called Scream VI:

And in March will also be released the new chapter of Dead by Daylight, which could lead to a new collaboration with maybe new survivors and a new skin for Ghost Face to promote the movie.

For those who do not know anything about it, on March 10, 2023 will be released the new chapter of the saga, and this is the synopsis:

”After surviving Ghostface’s murderous rampage that rocked Woodsboro for the third time, sisters Sam and Tara Carpenter, along with twins Chad and Mindy Meeks, leave town to start a new life in New York and leave the past behind. However, even in the big city they will find themselves dealing with a new Ghostface.”

It’s already happened in the past, for example with Leatherface, that new content was released within Dead by Daylight close to the release of the new movie of the saga.

And speaking of Leatherface, for those who don’t know, the license is probably going to abandon Dead by Daylight because of the new licensed game of Texas Chain Saw Massacre coming:

So a collaboration with a new license could be the right way to fill the gap that will leave Leatherface and to divert the attention of fans from the fact that the game is going to lose an iconic horror character.

I remind you that with Scream was made the collaboration only to have the license of the mask, so they can then make a deal to bring into the game the map of Woodsboro and a survivor (Sidney, or someone from the new movie coming out) since it is since the release of the Ghost Face DLC that the community requests loudly other content from the Scream license.
