The Silent Hill Designer and Pyramid Head Creator Masahiro Ito would like his White Hunter Monster on Dead by Daylight
In 2020, one of the most awaited collaborations came on Dead by Daylight, the one with Silent Hill, with Pyramid Head and Cheryl Mason.
And some time later James Sunderland was also added! Click here if you don’t know anything about it!
Since that DLC was released, the community has always been surprised by the loyalty work done on the models of the characters and also on the map, even the powers and the perks received so much approval.
But recently, the artist behind the creation of Pyramid Head, Masahiro Ito, wondered why inside Dead by Daylight there is that version instead of the ‘White Hunter‘, that according to him would be better linked to the game of Behaviour Interactive because Pyramid Head is closely related to James Sunderland, and in a context outside the game and the lore of Silent Hill, it makes no sense to his presence.
Masahiro Ito specifies that the ‘White Hunter’ was originally created for the comic included in the OST of Silent Hill: Origins/Zero, and was a representation of Pyramid Head that was not for James Sunderland originally.
For him, if the White Hunter entered Dead by Daylight, would be more than happy, since it was created for that purpose, that is to avoid abuse of the character of Pyramid Head in products other than Silent Hill, that’s why it also has another name: White Hunter.
