For those who don’t know, the TV series will also include the story of the origin of Pennywise, and will be set in the 60s in the period before the events of IT: Part One of 2017.

The movie will be directed by Rob Savage and will be distributed on Hulu, produced by 20th Century Fox.

The project received the PG-13 rated for 'Terror, violent content, drug use for teenagers and some strong language.'

As for the synopsis: ''Still shaken by the tragic death of their mother, a teenage girl and her little brother find themselves plagued by a sadistic presence in their home and struggle to get their grieving father to pay attention before it’s too late.''
