After the announcement a few months ago at the Dead by Daylight anniversary livestream, new information finally arrives about the game from Supermassive Games (authors of Until Dawn, among others) set in the Dead by Daylight universe.
This new project will be a singleplayer, multiple-choice video game along the lines of Until Dawn, chronicling the exploits of a group of survivors grappling with the Entity. Studio director Steve Goss and executive producer Traci Tufte had promised new information by the end of the year, and in fact a new trailer has just been released at The Game Awards:

Steve Goss, Game Director at Supermassive Games explains that "we are excited to collaborate with the Behaviour team on a brand new singleplayer horror video game set in the terrifying Dead by Daylight universe. It will be a completely new way for fans to experience the horror of Dead by Daylight."
The Dead by Daylight singleplayer video game made by Supermassive will feature a story centered on brand-new characters and, as executive producer Traci Tufte points out, "will blend the tension, action and branching narrative of a Supermassive game with the dark mythology of Dead by Daylight to create a narrative experience centered on tension and the need to make life-or-death choices."
In addition to this project, there is also a second Dead by Daylight spin-off in development, a Left 4 Dead-style PVE experience that is still in the early stages of development, however, so we are unlikely to receive any information anytime soon.
