To become a horror will be the Grinch
Become a cult and winner of the Oscar for best makeup and hairstyle, this year the Grinch will return to the cinema in a completely new guise, always in a bad mood and with zero enthusiasm for Christmas.
'The Mean One', this is the title of the film, will talk about Cindy Chi Lou who arrives in Newville in search of the Grinch to seek revenge because of the killing of her parents many years before, this is the official synopsis:
In this bold new parody, The Mean One is a furry, green-skinned grouch dressed as Santa Claus, who lives on a mountain above the city of Newville, despising the holiday season. The young Cindy Chi Lou, whose parents were massacred by The Mean One about twenty Christmases now, returns to the city to try to close with the past... but he’s about to find out that this devil with the heart of two sizes smaller is still quite eager to slice the roast.
Steven Lamorte will direct the film, while David Howard Thornton will take the place of Jim Carrey for this horror Grinch, flanked by Krystle Martin, Chase Mullins, John Bigham, Erik Baker, Flip Kobler and Amy Schumacher as the rest of the cast. The screenplay is written by Flip and Finn Kobler.
The release date is scheduled for December 15.
