It has indeed been many years that fans have been hoping that sooner or later, among the many creatures that have come to Dead by Daylight, the Wendigo of Until Dawn will also arrive, and now things seem to be more possible than in the past.

For those who don't know what Until Dawn is, it is a Playstation 4 exclusive game developed by Supermassive Games (those who also recently released The Quarry and The Dark Pictures Anthology) about a group of guys who on the anniversary of the disappearance of two friends decide to go back to the very place where they were last seen, but right from the start things don't go so well, because they realize that place is infested with creatures who want to kill them, these creatures are called Wendigo:

Until Dawn was a game that was a good success among the community and in fact it is still talked about today, so much so that the development team wanted to make The Quarry, which is very reminiscent of the atmosphere of Until Dawn (Until Dawn is a property of playstation, so they can no longer use that name, not being an acquired team of Playstation, despite the good feedback from that game).

Since Dead by Daylight started to involve several licensed characters, fans have always hoped for the involvement of the team that worked on Until Dawn, and today the involvement between the two teams actually is there, because Supermassive Games is working on a spin-off game of Dead by Daylight:

Indeed, this very fact bodes well for a collaboration regarding a licensed chapter in collaboration with the team that developed Until Dawn.

Since the latter license belongs to Playstation, however, the chapter would probably be about The Quarry, even though the latter game also features Wendigo-like creatures:

At the moment the only official thing is that the two teams are working on a spin-off of Dead by Daylight, but if they actually announce a collaborative chapter for the popular asymmetric multiplayer horror, I will keep you updated as always.
