"Actually I was basically interested in Pooh and Pimpi, I wanted to paint them as creatures without any remorse and in fact in this movie they are nothing short of sadistic," Rhys Waterfield told to Dread Central. "It was something I wanted to pull out of these characters. In my head, the film has always been all about Pooh and Pimpi. I imagined, and somehow I even convinced the actors to play them this way, that Pooh was the alpha, between the two. He’s Pimpi’s alpha male, and he’s always in charge of all the decisions. Pimpi is essentially a servant, he just does what Pooh wants. And they developed this dynamic over the years as they developed their sadistic tendencies. Today they kill people to eat them, they live off it."
