A couple of hours ago, with a teaser published on Youtube, the release date of the Chucky TV series was announced: October 12, 2021.
Many times the Game Director of Dead by Daylight has said that thanks to the success achieved by DbD, they are contacted by companies to collaborate with them and provide a 'showcase' on their product.
It could be the case of Chucky, a collaboration with Dead by Daylight could be a great publicity boost for the TV series.
Same goes for Fatal Frame.
In December there will be the 25th Anniversary of the saga, and the producer, Keisuke Kikuchi, said that he would like to celebrate it in some way.
A few weeks ago there was the announcement of the arrival of Fatal Frame: Maiden of Black Water(the game released on Nintendo Wii U in 2014) on all platforms (Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PC)by the end of 2021. This is a way to test the interest around the saga, and a collaboration with Dead by Daylight could help even more in this regard.
