Dead by Daylight - New 'All Thing Wicked' Chapter Revealed: Killer Power, Survivor, Perks and Map!

Chapter 31 of Dead by Daylight is coming up, and like every chapter, people always wonder whether it might be something licensed or original.

In the case of chapter 31 I had already anticipated this to you about two months ago, but new confirmations have come from recent teasers stating that the survivor and the killer coming in march with chapter 31 will be original, so to those who were wondering: yes, chapter 31 will be original and not licensed as Chucky Chapter.

Just about Chapter 31, the community was speculating in the past days because of a user on youtube who apparently knows the chapters Behaviour Interactive is working on, having managed to anticipate both Chucky and Alan Wake, and now the same user has also given us information about the killer that will be inside Chapter 31 with a survivor and a new map:

And indeed within the lore of Dead by Daylight there is a mention of three characters that actually seems to correlate with the description given by Gumpy887:

So the speculations about the new killer similar to The Legion containing then three aliens/humanoids actually already has several teasers within the Dead by Daylight lore, and this is not even the first time this has happened, even in the past Behaviour Interactive has anticipated content through videos from the Dead by Daylight archives and which then actually made it into the game.

But not only that, in fact there are numerous new features coming within Dead by Daylight, including the ability to purchase cosmetics through collections, and the arrival of Mystery Boxes and Special Packs that will contain Rift items and cosmetics.

Chapter 31 also will bring with it a spring event.

And about the rumors, after Alan Wake there are some who thought the next chapter would have been inspired by Slenderman.

In fact in the Dead by Daylight roadmap unveiling the content coming in February, the date of the PTB was announced that will unveil the new chapter coming, and the image used is very reminiscent of Slenderman, in fact a 'VHS' filter was used that resembles the one used in the Slenderman games when he catches/chases you:

And days ago the first teaser of this chapter was released, with some stories posted on socials by the Dead by Daylight account:

The references seem to match up with to skinwalkers, supernatural creatures who transform into animals and use the voice of a familiar person to lure you.

From the later teasers it seems that the 'vhs' filter used in that roadmap is related to the way they decided to teaser about this new killer, namely through camera footages showing this strange creature approaching:

Apparently combining all the information we have been given through recent teasers, the chapter is supposed to be inspired by Blair Witch, for those who don't know Blair Witch is a franchise that contains two movies and also a game, it is set inside a forest where there is apparently no way out, the protagonists whenever they try to walk forward after a while always find themselves back at the starting point, as if it were a maze from which it is difficult to get out, and this forest is full of strange creatures and especially a witch who haunts the place.

The new chapter looks like something similar, speculations about the map in fact all point in the name of Greenville a map inspired by Springwood Forest, a map obviously already present within Dead by Daylight, in fact in the recent teasers there is always mention of a wooded place, and also the teaser you saw just up there is actually a person in a tent in a wooded area.

The survivor was supposed to be Lisa, a girl who disappeared within this forest, and the killer was supposed to be some sort of Wendigo inspired by the creatures from Until Dawn.

As for the killer's power, we can see from the teasers that he can duck and crawl, so the speculations was about something related to a movement system that can vary and thus have two phases, perhaps even alternating between first person and third person, which was recently introduced with the Chucky Chapter.

But after all the speculation of the previous days, the new chapter of Dead by Daylight has finally been unveiled with a trailer.
